The primary job of Field Survey Assistant is to gather field data using field survey apps like Routemappr. The apps are downloaded on android phones, they are mostly self-explanatory and survey assistants can add data such as measurements, bearings, distances & areas, photos and video's as per directions provided in training sessions. Job involves daily travel, site visits and data collection. Comprehensive understanding of local geography, landmarks and ability to understand road maps. Ability to work with minimal supervision

Training Duration:

3 Hrs Online Training & 1 Day practise session on live project.

Eligibility:

10th Pass and knowledge of smart phone usage, Two-wheeler with valid Driving License.

• The patroller will visit the total specified fiber cable routes on daily basis and watch closely to prevent cable damage
• Monitoring of any Digging, Excavation & Construction work along with the Optical Fiber Infrastructure
• Tracking of all the company assets installed on the road site like Duct, Cable, Cabinets, Termination Boxes and Enclosures
• Routine checking of complete asset installed on assigned routes
• Identification of any misshapes / damages & out of order infrastructure component
• Observing any variation in existing infrastructure from the actual statistics
• Follow-ups with 3rd party contractor regarding required maintenance of the infrastructure
• Close coordination with the representatives of the different, Utility Companies, NOC / ROW issuing authorities Contractors who are doing civil works for others
• Assists the Operation & Maintenance team to localize the ground faults

Village Telecom Technician is an all in one role that provides both "entrepreneurship" as well as "employment" opportunities right at the vicinity of village. The VTT course comprises of various modules with the Field Survey Assistant as first module will makes one employable immediately. Based on learning ability selection of candidates is taken up for further modules which includes Fiber Cable Splicing, Router/GPON Installation & Troubleshooting, Fiber laying, connectivity and maintenance. VTT candidates undergo one session every week to further sharpen skills and knowledge about latest trends.

2 Weeks Practical Training on live project and 5 Hrs Online session

Eligibility:

• 10th Pass and knowledge of smart phone usage, Two-wheeler with valid Driving License
• Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
• Ability to work extremely flexible hours and support on-call duties and shift work is required
• Physical stamina to stand and be vigilant, during entire shift, excluding rest breaks
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
